AWS Activate is a global program, and French startups are fully eligible. Through ROSTAN Technologies — an AWS Activate Provider — qualifying French startups can access the Portfolio tier of AWS Activate, worth up to $200,000 in credits, rather than the smaller self-apply Founders tier. We prepare and submit the application, help you set up your AWS account, and review your initial architecture so the credits go further.
Support is delivered remotely by our AWS team in India, working to French (CET) business hours. You get hands-on help without local consulting rates, while your workloads and data stay in the AWS Paris Region.
The AWS Europe (Paris) Region (eu-west-3), live since December 2017, has three Availability Zones and lets French startups keep data and workloads in-country, close to French users and aligned with French/EU data protection requirements.
